Admission

The National School for Political Science and Public Administration offers doctoral studies in Political Science since the academic year 2000-2001.
 
According to Government Decision nr. 567/ June 15, 2005 concerning PhD studies, NSPAS organizes admissions for the academic year 2010-2011 for:
* Full time doctoral studies
* Part time doctoral studies
 
The academic preparation of PhD students shall take place in the Doctoral School of Political Science according to the regulations for doctoral studies approved by the Senate of NSPAS. During their PhD studies, students shall first attend an advanced studies program and will then follow with the scientific research program that concludes with the public presentation of their PhD thesis.
The admission process for doctoral studies in Political Science consists of:
* an examination of English language
* an evaluation by the committee of the candidate's professional resume, of the list of scientific papers and of the doctoral research project (written in accordance with the requirements below), which will be included in the registration file,
* an interview based on three of the bibliography works recommended by the coordinator, selected by the candidate as most relevant for the topic of their research
Note: the list of scientific papers shall be attached along with 1-2 papers published or presented by candidates at conferences and other scientific events, or, respectively, with an extract from the bachelor or dissertation thesis. These academic works will be assessed by the admission committee.

September 23rd - language skills test
September 28th - admission interview
For the 2010-2011 academic year there are 18 full time PhD places financed from the state budget.
Registration period is between the 1st and 21st of September 2010 (15:00)
Program for registration: Monday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday: 9:00 to 12:00 p.m., 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
